Delaware Libraries are Entrepreneurship Engines
Did you know that you can access tools and resources used by Fortune 500 companies with a Delaware Library Card? That's why Delaware Libraries are entrepreneurship engines!
Delaware libraries offer a wide range of resources, tools, and training for entrepreneurs across the state. Many of the resources help small businesses remain competitive with larger companies who have their own librarians, sophisticated market datasets, and employ dedicated research staff. With a Delaware Library Card you can access many of the same resources as Fortune 500 companies!
Online Resources
Start your search in the Business & Entrepreneurship LibGuide. Resources from the libraries along with links to our partners in business development and their resources have been pulled together in one place.

Assistance
Delaware Libraries have partnered with the Delaware Division of Small Business and Negocios to provide individual counseling. To have a counselor contact you, complete a request form at this link if you prefer English or this link if you prefer Spanish.
Business development organizations that provide assistance and support for communities underrepresented in entrepreneurship are listed in the tab Resources for Specific Populations. These organizations provide certifications, access to funding and training for entrepreneurs with disabilities, minorities, veterans, and women.
Safe Spaces for Work and Collaboration
Libraries are a great place for entrepreneurs who need a quiet, safe environment to focus on their business. There are spaces for business owners to develop plans and strategies or meet with an advisor or mentor. Call your local library to reserve a space.
Delaware’s public libraries provide fast and free WiFi to connect to the internet using your device or a library computer. Many of the libraries have 3D printers and other emerging technologies that you can use to help develop your product. If you need technology to be able to work from home, libraries have Chromebooks and MiFi hotspots that you can checkout just like a book.
Every $10 we raise helps us reach 1,000 more Delawareans to encourage them to get a library card!
